Innovative cylinders: DENAIR’s proven cylinder design eliminates the need for a cylinder cooling system, reducing complexities and potential maintenance problems associated with water cooling, such as scale and corrosion. The compressors feature horizontal, ion-nitrided compressor cylinders, single or double acting, without water cooling. They also have gauge connection points on the cylinder cover side and the crankshaft side. The pistons are made of wear-resistant gray or ductile iron, and non-metallic piston and backup rings are used. The compressors also have floating, vented stem seals and valve stem seals, as well as non-metallic plates in suction and discharge valves.
